Sandy Recinos is the Executive Director of the Secretariat Against Sexual Violence, Exploitation and Trafficking in Persons (SVET) at the Office of the Vice President of the Republic of Guatemala. She is also the President of the Regional Coalition Against Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants (CORETT).

She has more than 15 years of professional experience within the private sector as an attorney, founder and Vice President of the Asociación la Familia lmporta, Founding Partner of Legal Solutions and Coordinator of the Coordinating Committee of the National Council for the Compliance of Peace (CNAP). Her priority focus is the development of institutions that empower the family and helping women achieve their full development within a society.
