DHS Director of the Center for Countering Human Trafficking Presents at the ITHT Quarterly Virtual Convening

2Today was Anti-Slavery Day, and in our ongoing commitment to combating human trafficking and ensuring ethical supply chains, we hosted our Quarterly Virtual Convening focused on the anti-trafficking “P” of Protection.

We were honored to have Cardell Morant, Director of the Department of Homeland Security Center for Countering Human Trafficking (CCHT), lead our discussion as our featured speaker. The CCHT’s mission is to advance law enforcement efforts, protect victims, and enhance prevention strategies, aligning DHS’ capabilities to fight human trafficking and forced labor.

Together, we discussed the vital topic of supply chain legislation, multidisciplinary teams, and trauma informed approaches to interviews.
