Arsen Torosyan is a Member of Parliament of Armenia since 2021. He is a member of ruling “Civil Contract” faction and Standing Committee of European Integration. From January to June of 2021 he served as the Chief of Staff to the office of Prime Minister of Armenia. Before holding that position he served as the Minister of Health of Armenia since 2018. During his tenure as Minister of Health he initiated and led numerous reforms in the health sector as well as tackled two major health crises: COVID19 pandemic and war that hit the country in 2020 leaving thousands of wounded and injured servicemen needing proper medical care.
Before holding political posts Arsen Torosyan worked in private, public, non-governmental and international organizations in the sphere of healthcare. He is a medical doctor by education and has narrow specialization in health management and organization.
He is a member of Civil Contract Party and holds a position of Board Member of the party since 2019.
