Nancy Acora is a Uganda Member of Parliament and also a representative to the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU). She attended Gulu University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She also holds a certificate in Education.
Beginning her humanitarian work back in 2008, Nancy was a volunteer for the Uganda Red Cross Society and World Vision working with internally displaced peoples. She was also a Research Assistant in the area of HIV/AIDS. Nancy worked as a Research Assistant and Field Project coordinator with the Cross Cultural Foundation of Uganda under the Project for Enhancing Women Empowerment in the districts of Gulu, Lamwo, and Kitgum.
